Perfection! Me? Not Possible!

You Must Be Perfect To Go To Heaven!

The most important thing in life is where you will spend eternity when you die. If you were to die today and stand before God, what would you tell Him as to why He should let you into heaven?

The God of the Bible, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is the only true God. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and King of the universe. He has given us His Commandments which requires every person to perfectly obey. The problem , as Paul says in Galatians 3:10, is that “cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law and perform them.

We must realize who He is, that you have sinned many times and broken His Commandments. You must understand “the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23, you are a guilty sinner and must be punished by death.
Their good news! God has made a way for us. Romans 5:8 says that “God demonstrated His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Since you have to be perfect and aren’t, God designed a plan so that we could be reconciled to Him. Since sin had to be paid for, God sent His Son Jesus from heaven to earth to die in our place. Christ lived that perfect life that we fail to do everyday. He died a cruel death on the cross to pay for our sins. “2 Cor 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”. He become the substitute for our sins so that we could recieve His perfect record (righteousness) which was put to our account.

How do you get the perfect righteousness of Christ? Only by faith! Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” In Romans 6:23 by Paul writes, “But the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” Eternal life is a free gift paid for by Jesus blood that He shed, through faith apart from our own merit. We must repent, turn from our sins and trust Jesus Christ alone to save us from the eternal punishment and separation from God. will you now trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone to save you from your sins. Please feel free to call me if you would like prayer and help with receiving Christ and living a life for Him.
